Revenue Talati is an administrative government position found in rural parts of the Gujarat government. The position was known as the talati-cum-mantri, but in April 2011 the Government of Gujarat created a new post or position named Revenue Talati. Now both are different positions – Revenue Talati and Panchayat Mantri. Talati-cum-mantri is known as Panchayat Mantri now. Panchayat Mantri is under the Panchayat, and Revenue Talati is under the Revenue Department.
The recruitment of Revenue Talati was taken by Gujarat Gaun Seva Pansandgi Mandal. Revenue Talati manages the revenue work of village.
